If you use water sandpaper for dry sanding, the particles will break up. It will stay in the gaps between the sand grains, making the surface of the sandpaper dull and unable to achieve the original effect. Dry sandpaper is less troublesome. The gaps between the sand grains are larger and the wear debris is larger. During the grinding process, the powder will fall off due to the large gap, so there is no need to add water.

Water-sanded sandpaper is also called water-resistant sandpaper or water-resistant sandpaper. It is famous mainly because it can be soaked and polished in water or polished in water during use. Water-resistant sandpaper is based on water-resistant paper or water-resistant treated paper.
