How to choose grain size
1. Rough grinding and removal of impurities: Coarse sandpaper with low mesh count (such as P80, P120) is suitable for removing large uneven, rough surfaces and impurities. This sandpaper quickly smoothes out irregular surfaces in preparation for subsequent grinding steps.

5. Final polishing and coating preparation: The finest grit sandpaper (such as P1200, P1500, P2000) is usually used for final polishing and coating preparation. They remove tiny imperfections, abrasions and particles to provide a smooth base for coating, ensuring adhesion and uniformity of the coating.
