【Design】This stripping disc is designed with an open nylon mesh, which is why it is perfect for cleaning welds, removing rust and stripping paint. Nylon fibers continually break down during the grinding process, exposing fresh minerals for a consistently sharp cutting action and a consistent finish.

【Material】 The nylon fibers on the strip disc are scattered with silicon carbide minerals. We chose it because it cuts more strongly than finer grade minerals. Among synthetic minerals, silicon carbide is one of the sharpest. It breaks down faster than aluminum oxide but leaves a finer surface.

【Function】The wire stripping wheel is a safer alternative to wire brushes. Strip discs feature silicon carbide abrasive minerals incorporated into an open nylon mesh. It effectively removes rust, paint, scale, coatings and adhesives from surfaces without significantly altering the substrate.

【Difference】Black is the basic style suitable for ordinary painting and rust removal. The purple material is hard and wear-resistant, making it ideal for stubborn old paint and hard rust. From an efficiency perspective, purple is better.
